Our Story

My Favorite Things began as a gift and home décor store in Hazard, KY. Founded with the goal of blending the atmosphere of a small, family-owned shop with the elegance and great selection of large department stores, and the uniqueness of a New York boutique, My Favorite Things was the perfect choice for all gift-buying & home décor needs.

In February 2005, the Hazard store was relocated to the Hamburg area of Lexington – the horse capital of the world. In 2008, My Favorite Things introduced a new retail concept to the central Kentucky area – the Cobblestone Shoppes “shop within a shop” gift area that now includes All Things Kentucky, Stork’s Landing, Oasis Bath & Body, Gourmet Café, and the Flower Shoppe. Around the same time, we also began offering high-quality furniture such as Drexel Heritage and Maitland Smith as well as custom interior design service.

Today, My Favorite Things is recognized as the premier store in central Kentucky for first quality furniture, a unique one-of-a-kind gift selection, and professional interior design service.

Since 2005, My Favorite Things has been the premier furniture and gift store in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to furniture and gifts, we also feature elegant home decor items, floral arrangements, custom gift baskets, and more. Our services include complimentary in-home design consultation.

Return Policy
We will honor returns, with the exception of special orders and sale items, within 30 days of purchase for exchange or store credit. Customer must present original receipt to receive exchange or store credit. NO cash refunds at any time. Merchandise must be in original, like-new condition, and with original packaging. Items received as a gift may be returned under the same conditions.

Furniture Delivery and Charges

Our professional delivery personnel will deliver and set up your furniture in the desired location in your home. Our goal is your complete satisfaction. The following delivery charges will apply…

* $75 within a 50-mile radius of Lexington, KY (minimum delivery charge)

* Additional $1 per mile over 50-mile radius of Lexington, KY

* Delivery available up to a 200-mile radius of Lexington, KY

* We will call the day before your scheduled delivery to confirm the date and approximate time of your delivery within a 3-hour window.

* On the day of your scheduled delivery, we will call you when we’re 30 minutes away.

* If you prefer to pick up your furniture at the store, we will load it into your truck or trailer at no cost.

Furniture Financing
We also offer 90 days, 6 months, and 12 months same as cash financing through First Financial Credit.

Floor Sample Furniture
All floor sample furniture, discounted, and sale merchandise is sold strictly as is, and may not be returned or exchanged.

Custom Gift Baskets
We will create a themed gift basket for you based on selections you make or we can include a variety of items we pick at a price point you select. Our gift baskets are created by professional designers who will make sure your gift is as special and unique as your recipient.

Free gift wrapping on all regular-priced items.
